Peanut Butter Hummus Wrap

Hummus wraps are among our favourite recipes here at A good hummus wrap is easy to make, quick, healthy and delicious. With all this in mind, we came up with this peanut butter hummus wrap recipe to give your typical hummus wrap a bit of a revamp.

Wraps are a great meal option. Whether you're in need of breakfast, lunch or dinner you can pull it off smoothly with a wrap. And having all your food wrapped in a tortilla will make feeding yourself and your family an easy matter. It's so convenient! 

I'm trying to add more recipes like this one to our collection so we have a bunch of different options. Wraps are great but variety is too. So this time, we put together two things we love, Asian taste and wraps. We came up with an incredibly delicious peanut butter hummus wrap recipe that takes less than 10 minutes to make. 

The vegetables we are using are budget-friendly and easy to get all year round. We only need cabbage and mung beans sprouts. These two veggies are super loaded with nutrients and health benefits which make our peanut butter hummus wrap quite healthy and light. 

Peanut Butter Hummus Wrap ingredients

Since we need some protein in there as well, we are adding some slices of extra firm tofu. I like using the extra firm kind so it stays as an actual slice. The other kinds will probably crumble or break into pieces. No bueno. Also the consistency goes perfect with the crunchy veggies that we are adding. It all balances out nicely. 

This peanut butter hummus wrap has quite a good amount of protein. Added to what we get from the tofu we are bumping up the protein content with a bit of hummus and peanut butter. These ingredients next to each other will get you about 19g of protein! 

We love hummus but I realised plain hummus was not going to cut it. That's when I decide to make a peanut butter hummus wrap. Peanut butter and a few extra ingredients make a big difference flavour-wise. You will be amazed by how adding two ingredients to regular hummus will turn a regular wrap into an Asian delight.

The peanut butter hummus is made with, well hummus and peanut butter, of course. Soy sauce, just a little bit, gives us enough of that savoury salty kick we are after. And that's it! Just three ingredients mixed in together for an absolutely delicious spread. 

Everything you need is ready! All that's left now is to put everything together. Just spread the hummus on the tortilla, add the fresh veggies and roll! You will have in your hands an incredibly delicious peanut butter hummus wrap ready to be devoured.

For the peanut butter hummus

  • ¼ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ¼ cup hummus
  • 1 tsp soy sauce

For the fresh veggies

  • 2 oz extra firm tofu (sliced)
  • 1 cup mung bean sprouts
  • 1 cup red cabbage (thinly shredded)
  • 2 tortillas tortilla wrap


  1. Spread the peanut butter hummus on top of the tortilla wrap.
  2. Add the fresh veggies, roll it and cut it in half, enjoy!
